"Moko select" is an e-commerce application created for users to purchase blind box figurines online. The purpose of this application is to provide users with a convenient online shopping experience while also replicating, as much as possible, the 3D model previews that users can normally only see in physical stores. The focus of this project is primarily on upgrading the art style of its older version, improving the overall usability of the application, and enhancing its visual design.
Based on the analysis, the older version of the application has problems with accessibility, a cluttered design layout, an unclear information hierarchy, and an excessively flashy visual style.
To resolve the aforementioned issues, the visual updated application interface integrates the old visual style with a minimalist approach by eliminating certain skeuomorphic design elements. The accessibility was enhanced by modifying the theme color and typography. The design adopts a card-free structure with simple shading, font color, and thickness to emphasize visual focal points and improve the previously unclear information hierarchy. Additionally, the information spacing within the cards was adjusted to improve the overall legibility of the application.
